Been lying underneath it in the mud and rain with a dodgy torch trying to find a problem that didnt want to be found

Everything running fine on trusty TD5 until this morning when the clutch is very loose, until it is very nearly right down, then its stiff. Cant be the plates, maybe a cable? Did go a spin along the beach and a wee bit off roading last night and it did have a mega thorough pressure wash...
