I bought a Disco because I could not afford a Defender. Having had it for five years (and practically rebuilt it!) I still love it, but would also still love to get a Defender (still can't afford one!!!)

Hi Niblets, I had an almost identical problem on my Disco 1... I thought the noise was coming from the front passenger door. The noise would only occur at 2,000rpm - it drove me nuts!! After many weeks/days of fiddling around I found that the front near side bumper-to-wing bolt was loose. 2...
