using a tdci loom and bulkhead dash etc and a toyota 4.2 engine manual box and transferbox

is it worth spending the money converting and exactly what is needed to convert a 300tdi to a tdci gearbox?

i have just got the box and torque convertor out from my 1989 classic and the new torque convertor has a bigger shaft they goes into the crank is there a bearing that can be removed to make the crank bigger or what is my options? need help asap :doh: any much appreciated!!!!!:tea:
