Bump, Anywhere else apart from Ashcrofts?

Hi guys, Was driving my landy today, and pulled over to let someone pass, when bang, lost all forward drive. I still have reverse, which works fine Any ideas, apart from a new gearbox? Many many thanks

thanks guys, been a big help. I have checked the level, and it seems that there is way to much fluid. Could this be a cause of the gearbox having problems?

rebuilt, as good as new, or second hand, depends on the cost. Thanks for your help

Hi all My 1998 Auto gearbox, has started revving hard between 2nd & 3rd gear, and jumps between gears, all other gears work fine. Anyone know what the peoblem could be, or is it a matter of getting a new gearbox? If this is the case, does anyone know where you can pick up a cheap...
