Can anyone tell me where the diagnostic plug is on a 1995 p38 range rover

Ive just bought a 2001 4.0 rangerover with an heater problem, everything works but it only blows cold air, there are no faults showing on dashboard. Anyone know what the problem is and how to cure it.

Ive got an x reg v8 disco, in the morning when you start it from cold it sounds like its only running on 7 cylinders and is very flat on acceleration, you can also hear water swishing about in the heater, after it warms up it runs perfectly, it doesn't overheat or use any water, anybody got any...
