That's exactly the problem I have - the instructions are for a 3 series and of course it looks nothing like my P38

Don't suppose anyone has a picture of where the electrical connection goes. Thought I had found it but its only 2 pin where as the wiring on the PSI Powerbox is for a 3 pin. Close but still no cigar. Thanks in advance

Some progress. Found the FIP - its pretty much in the middle of the engine. Just need to find the electrical connection now!

So will it still be on the passenger side?

I've just got hold of a PSI Powerchip, and despite the 'easy to fit' promise the instructions provided don't show any resemblance to my 2.5 DHSE (2000 BMW unit) - specifically the location of the PSI loom. Has anyone fitted one of these before and can they give any advice. Thanks in advacce
