don't think i can get the silicone gun up the wheel arch to dog some more gunge round though. this could be difficult.

I'll be upset if it's got to come off, im going to go around all the hoses first with silicone, up to the inlet, intercooler, turbo pipes the lot, before taking it off again.

trouble is the damm thinks on with half a tone a silicon, we all know how bloody hard it is to get off.

i know in the air box where the inlet goes in it seems loose like it fits in then snapps tight, might br getting in there, as i sealed the small hole in the bottom of the airbox when i put it on.

Tried putting me hand over the end, engine struggled a bit herd some hissing noises from the air box i think, then it sucked the intercooler hose in which caught on the viscous fan pulley.Engine never stopped though. Does this thing have to be completly airtight cause im thinking you've got to...

I can see your thinking, but it's coming from lower down and sort of hydraulic sounding, maybee air in the system.

Just checked it tonight while fitting the egr blanking plate, all levels bang on the lines.

Hi, Can anybody help. The steering on my discovery td5 groans, usually it does it the most just after start up when your first moving off the drive with the steering turning. But it sometimes does it when parking up too. Not sure if the system needs bleeding or it's something more...

Hi, Can any one shed any light on these tryes, my Discovery came with 4 nearly new ones fitted, they look the business for off roading, im not sure if there any good. Although it sounds like a unimog at any speed over 30mph.
