i have recently orderer a new gasket kit from the good folks at atlantic brittish for the transfer case.I was just going to start pulling it out when an uncle suggested i find everything out first. has anyone ever done this befor the manuals dont reassure me that this is something i might want...

so how big of an ordeal is pulling the transfer box just to replace the seals? Also is there some other maintence to go with this since im already elbow deep>

what is allowable leakage on the transfer case?

Hey does anyone know how to get into the bonnet(hood) if your latch release has broke or not releasing ? A jpeg of the route of the cable would be of great help. or a step by step instruction of how to get in there without jacking up the finish.

I recently purchased a 97 disco !. I love it. However the lights flicker I was thinking this could be a alternator issue however I was also thinking perhaps a voltage regulator. Rather then spend alot of money on swinging tree mechanics which is the more likely colperate? And I have a squeak...
