Figured out that the glue type stuff is a previous bodge as the inner pulley lug to centre the outer pulley had snapped off, some jokers idea of making sure the outer pulley didnt spin loose or move i guess :-( On my crankshaft the bit the pulley goes on is like a reverse D (bit exagerated)...

So am i right in thinking the K series doesnt use any kind of woodruff key to lock crank timing pulley in place but instead uses almost like a notch out of the crankshaft and same profile out of the pulley that in theory fits in snug and means pulley can only be fitted in one set position? I am...
