As Mrnice says, 3M seems to be the best out there. Bit nerve wracking when you first sand them and they go frosted. But dead simple, if I can do it, anyone can! Think I paid £27 and had plenty to do the two lights. Just need a drill with variable speed setting and plenty masking tape.

I don't have ACE. I did recently replaced fuel leads. Worried they may be rubbing now?!

Hi, I've got a strange sound on my 04 Disco 2. If I move the chassis up and down, there is a odd creaking, sounds like an old ship! Looking around, it looks like the Watts Linkage could be seized. Presumably if this can't move up and down, everything will creak? Anyone had this before?

Best thing I did was headlight restoration with 3M kit. Yellow haze gone. Fitted new bulbs too, light is bright and white. Happy days.

Just an update to say I changed the fuel hoses today. Took me about 3 hours, lots of swearing, diesel on my face and grazed hands. The hoses were seized onto the fuel filter manifold and getting the hoses off the top of the rear cross member was a fiddle. 122 thousand miles worth of crap falling...

Just checked and my vehicle was recalled and had the fix at a land rover specialist. So unfortunately no Land Rover freebie, will have to get my hands dirty and wallet emptied!

Thanks for the advice. But I think the seal for the pump is ok, as there is no diesel in the recess where the pump fits into the tank. I think it must be the hoses. Just looked around at the price and these seem to cost a fair bit. I think I will need to drop the tank so I can see the hoses and...
