Thanks for your help. I will play around with the one bar with a thread on it...and see if i can get it to work. I must admit, on the rear tailgate mechanism, the threaded bar did rotate once or twice.(although I tried to avoid this)...maybe this was enough......I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi... when I unlock the vehicle, all of the latches pop up, but it sounds like a machine gun going off at the drivers door! :-) So, it looks as though all doors including the rear door are unlocked...however, when I then try to open either rear door, the latch drops as I pull on the handle and...

Hi, bought a 95 N-reg Disco 1 a year ago.... Absolultely love it, however the Air-con makes a dreadful noise when switched on, it's not a whine noise, rather a groan.... This was not always the case, in the beginning it worked fine, but then started to make the noise..It's so bad I cannot use...
