Hey guys, im trying to sell my landrover 110 defender and trying to post it here, but im finding it hard to get it up on to this site.

Hey lynall, the pipe that goes from what i think is the egr valve on the 200 tdi is weeping oil on the head of my engine !! Firstly do i need it and secondly where can i get a new replacement ??

Ye may try that all right, well im hoping thats what it is cos i really dont want to find a gearbox for her !!

No the clutch, has fluid and finds gears and wants to go but it seems to be the handbrake drum is holding it bak ... i dont kno when the handbrake shoes were changed before.... ah i have a guy who trained as a mechanic on them looking at her on friday so im hoping its not the gearbox or the...

Is it possible that the grinding is coming from the handbrake drum at the transfer box, i changed the oil in both the gearbox and transfer box and still the noise is in the jeep while driving ?? Has anybody any views or experience any hints greatly appreciated ??

Hey there guys, any idea if ive f**ked up my gearbox, there is a grinding sound coming from the box when u select gear but i can still select all the gears in the box... obviously if it doesnt have fluid in it there will be a grinding sound too !!

Hey does anybody know where i can get the flexible pipe that connects the snorkel to the air filter box and then for the filter to the turbo ??

Ah nice one at least now i kno what im doing !! Do i need anybody in the cab once i start using it, i have a what looks like a brake handle at the side of the cable drum with a big brake disc there too so im assuming thats a way of slowing it down !!

So if i engage the pto, do i get gears too !! I kno this is stupid but reverse is out and first is in ?? Apologies for the ignorance !!

Superwinch, recently refurbished it too, awesome indeed it is.... its a cool bit of kit indeed...... i love mydefender butshe is old and needs a full chassis refurb...

Oh right cool, well mine is plummed in for sure and dont need a winch cos ive a pto driven winch from the transfer box, so not much point in going now so ha ha ha

Oh right i was goona go just to buy a few spare parts for my defender is all, but ye i guessed thats what would be at those shows still nice to see them though, but ye i guess real ones are the ones driven off road all the time !!

Ok so apologies for the offensive remark, but its by defender and ill call it what i want. Does anybody kno when the next landrover enhusiasts show is on ??

Ah i kno looking for econmy in a 110 is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but i Like driving the jeep alot and i plan doing a serious refurb in the summer so was just Looking for ways to improve it is all......... ive heard that a disco t/ box is the best option. Thanks for the help guys !!
