Hi Doug Did exactly what i said on the post, the bit of lock i was aiming for was the white plastic bit that is pushed down when you turn the key thinking that it wasnt moving down enough to operate it. Hope that helps. Dino

Whoo hoo, all sorted. Couldnt sleep last night for thinking about this, anyway this morning got up connected up using jump leads key in turned to position 2 and left it. wound drivers window down and gave lock mechanism housing a tap or two and hey presto open pops the door key syncs and engine...

Cheers Doughdotcom managed to get in via the tail gate turning the key and pressing the button. opened bonnet and put jump leads on key in ignition, alarm sounds and display says press fob button.. didnt work. closed everything up and tried EKA but still doesnt turn alarm off. Ideas anyone.

Now have power going in via starter.led on dash flashing.Turning key to left makes hazards flash. nothing when turning to the right. All doors and bonnet shut and locked.

Hi 1999 P38 left standing for a month and battery completly flat now. Key wont operate in drivers door. Tried to get power into system via starter solenoid and use EKA still no go. Tried key in lock and holding fob button still no go. Any ideas please.:doh:
