    Heating Help

Also check the valve that is operated by the hearter control is not siezed, and is operating (check the control cable isn't just slipping). If all else fails you might need to check the theromstat as if it is not opening you'll not get hot water to the matrix.

    whats this???

Bit far for me, otherwise I'd come and give you a hand geting it started. Don't forget that you should be able to start it using the starter handle if you have one. Might be good to check you can turn it over by hand before going to lots of expense just in case the engine is siezed or there's...

    wet roof wet floor!!

I would have though sticking some carpet to the roof should do it. Just some of the thin nylon stuff you get in offices. If you do it properly it might look nice too and keep the warm in (when it fianlly warms up!). Spray adhesive should make it fairly easy too.

    crunchin'

Thanks! My landy is ex mod but doesn't have a removable cross member for some reason. I think mine was a civy model bought up my the MOD in the good ol' days when they had spare cash! Will have to come out of the top then! Will I have to bleed the clutch afterwards?

    crunchin'

I thought about that but there is no problem with first crunching, and the probelm only presents after a few miles. Doubling the clutch does help which leads me to think it is something to do with the syncro, but I don't know why it only does it once it's warmed up! Very strange!

Think I might be having a similar reverse problem to onsto. Perhaps a worn selector making it stick?

    crunchin'

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure the clutch is ok as I had to replace the engine after only having the truck for a week. In fact the engine siezed on the way home from buying it (first landy and I think I got "done") but thankfully i found a cheap replacement from a local specialist. The...
