    Classic blower burning smell

Ah understood. Well, I only get the burning smell when I put the fan on. No smell when it's turned off. Isn't that OK? :)

    Classic blower burning smell

Thanks dogsbody. It clearly is fooked, but I wasn't sure how much ;) Thanks for the tips. If we get another cold snap, and need to switch it on, I'll invetsigate soon - if all stays above zero I'll be leaving this to a summer task/saga.

    Classic blower burning smell

Hmm, car vacuum, stickyback plastic, just might work. Thanks gegs, but it's def not a fuse. Will investigate further (inevitably...) :)

    Classic blower burning smell

Thanks chap. Was hoping something simpler. I now have to pull the whole car apart right? Is there any aftermarket solution? Something to pull the air up from the end of the heater grilles, say?

    Classic blower burning smell

Hello all The blower on my '93 Classic completely stopped working recently and an electrical burning smell took the place of the hot air. Can any of you good folk draw an instant diagnosis from this? :) Thanks Dave
