Hello, does anyone know if you need a ignition amplifier for the lucas 35d8 distributor? i got a faint spark at coil but none at all at the plugs. ive changed the coil and all the usalls but still nothing. I recently bought the car and it drove home fine but aint started since. :confused::(

Thanks. I found out why i cant find one today. went to bearmack and they told me mine has been bodged. someone has cut the shaft, then drilled a hole in it and tapped a thread. bought a similar one today so prob have to change pulley now aswell.
