Hi, we have a 95 disco too, and use a reat facing seat from Argos, a Siege Auto New Way. Very reasonably priced and light to carry out when not in use. We bought ours for ferrying grandchildren.

Hi, we have a 95 disco and my grandaughter's rear facing seat fits in fine. Hers is from a mothercare 3 wheel travel system which has no base. My daughter clips the belt in across the seat first, then pulls the top strap over and around the back of the seat. It is a tight fit, but is very secure.
