Hi all,first off...absolutely cracking thread fella's.. been having the power drain issue now for 2 years, i only noticed it after i bought the car and had it for 6 weeks...its an 02 plate TD6...i put it into a garage and had the 06 front end conversion done, thought all was fine..then after 2...

yes.it was the transmission that went, not engine power...everything you said makes no sense at all to me..im just a humble lorry driver..lol, if that is what has accured here..what am i looking at ?...am i right to pressume a new box ?

been under her this morning...the green fluid is a diesel leak that is running down the engine and dripping where the transmission box meets the engine....no transmission fluid anywhere at all, the sump is bone dry all round...im now completely stumped, and not being mechanically minded...it is...

It looked green, but it was dark and i was useing a torch...i need to get under her and find out where it is coming from, but all i can see is it is dripping right onto the crossmember and i have no gears....so put two and two together...and probably came up with 5...lol

Thanks Hippo, had my brother under there earlier (hes much skinnier than myself)...but it was dark etc...he removed the filler nut and there was still fluid coming out of there, and of course its still leaking from where ever it has decided to come from...how will i know if damage has been...

Hi, went out this morning..wife phoned me and said there was a large wet patch where the Rangie was parked...i said it may have been the washer bottle as i filled it before i left...when i was on the way home..got to my road..then started to lose power...had the warning flash up on dash TRANS...

i need to replace the rear Air bags on my 02 L322 TD6...how hard is it ?...i did the fronts following instruction from another member on here...now the backs are calling me...so can i do this myself ?..im a complete novice ...just a humble lorry driver...any help greatfully recieved.

just an update boy n girls...had the HEVAC regulator resistor replaced at Stratstone....so far so good...the old girl is starting first time as she should...even after leaving her all weekend...she used go flat after 8 hours....this cost a few pennies over £150...took exactly 30 mins..had a nice...

just phoned the dealership that serviced the car before i had it..checked and found the HEVAC has not been replaced..and alas...is NOT a warranty recall...damn shame that, but the chief techy there said its a very common fault on this model...which Land Rover are very aware of..but will not do a...
