I use the superchips bluefin and found it made it much better and improved fuel economy too as the map had less 'flat spots'. Easy to do to. Plug the machine in, it downloads the current map, connect it to a computer and it uploads the map and then downloads a modified one then you plug it back...

Mine had a nice little issue that we decided was a very small hole in a hose somewhere that was fine when the engine was up to temp but when cooling drew air in so next time the engine heated up it pushed the water into the expansion tank and everntually though its overflow until it had bugger...

I suspect he is getting you confused with the OP who's profile does mention a gaylander.

I guess some of that will be the traction control on the disco and RRS and possibly the extra weight too. The defender also looked not to be running appropriate tyres.
