Bit of a random 1 my defender is running with no thermo and after about 4 miles reaches 80c then if you turn it off the water pipes are a little hard then if you undo the cap a litte it lets the presure out then remove the cap there is a litte white throuth on top is there some thing rong or am...

Ive got a 300 tdi defender and all the water pipes are hot and yet the header tank is cold water temp gauge dosnt work is this normal or wats the problem ? Thanks

another bump and to say ive tried 1 of 2 sensors and its not this 1 so will try the other tomoz if not its the gayge right?

shorley some 1 knows any help is better then none as fed up with dipping the tank lol and hopeing its not getting to hot

hey ive got a e reg defender 90 and have no wires to my fuel sender so how do i wire it up it has 2 spade termanals ?? and then the water temp senser has 1 wire comeing from it where dose it go on my guage and then how do i wire up the guage thanks every one

thanks for the help sorted now it was the wheels had so much mud on the inside ive now spent a hour cleaning the mud off and now there fine thanks

no idea only bought it the other day the fuel gage dosent work due to not being connected so will do that next weekend and ill try a new temp sensor thanks
