Well. I experience the problem and there appears to be no answer on this thread!!! Does anyone know the possible cause of the 'rattle'...

Mine does EXACTLY the same. The black smoke is due to the engine needing time to warm up, but not too sure about the rattle! I guess it's a 4x4 and not a sports car at the end of the day and struggles a little at speed!!!!
