I thought that mate,ive not got the right tools and am working on the ground,wer the back end of shaft enters i cani get they wee star bas...ds aff,if i was to remove that rear diff what else do i have to do,IE drive shafts,anything else and would i need to remove the prop shaft if i went that...

I bypassed 1 on a van mate so should be the same,2 ways ye can do it,run a wire from the pump te the possi on battery,if that dont work,run the wire from pump straight in to ignition barrel bit harder to do but that def works gaurenteed.let me know how ye get on,cheers

cheers mate,the rear diff mount is were the prop shaft enters,is that correct mate,and if so removeing the shaft would that solve it,i was thinking if it was that, the back drive shaft enter it as well so driveing on 2 wheel drive would that still not create the same noise.

hi was looking to get my facts right before i dismantel anything i dont hav to,was going to take propshaft off freelander 2000 plate,as i heve lound noise comeing from seems back/middle of f/lander,do i have to take the full prop off or just the back bit,and what tools will i need,and how would...
