SORRY,just had a look at RAC report and the mechanic took out and put back fuses F12 AND F13.

R.A.C just been and fixed problem,first he jacked up the disco and checked the battery was o/k,it was.He then got a small metal hook and thru the grill managed to yank the cable to open the bonnet,went straight to the fuse box,took out fuses 19 and 20 and put them back,central locking worked,a...

no towing electrics on this one,will get breakdown guy out,thanks...

Hi,went to open my 98 td5 disco today to find niether fob will work,the tailgate door was not shut properly and everything seems dead ,put a new battery in fob but still no joy.

pulled up on my parents steep driveway tonight applied handbrake and disco slid back about a foot because of ice, point is 4x4 or good or bad tyres if you are on ice you have no control.

Hi,having owned and driven my first discovery TD5 for two weeks now (1998) i sometimes find it very difficult to get from second gear to third,and extremely difficult to drop down from fifth to fourth,does anyone else have this problem or is there something dodgy with the gearbox/clutch.

Lambda sensors do send out a smell when on the blink.

does it idle o/k and noticed any wierd smells.
