F1 driver's door window regulator - part no/ electrical connector?

Looks like you've pulled the old connector apart in the wrong place ! In your OE door connector photo, squeeze the metal clip and that should seperate into 2 parts giving you the plug you need to fit the new window motor.

    Freelander 1 Taildoor Microswitch

Yes have done similar work !! Thought I'd keep it simple and call it a solenoid as OP is working on the switch only. But you are correct !!

    Freelander 1 Taildoor Microswitch

Yes looks correct. Blue plug is microswitch. White plug is solenoid to open door. The bit you have fits to the plate with the door lock on. Think it is screwed on.

C1035 suggests sensor open or short circuit. Worth unplugging, check pins not bent, clean pins and make sure plug is fully pushed in. Worth a go. I have never had a driveshaft that doesn't fit. Just tap off the ring if not needed and all works OK.

    Loose portion could be air.

Freelander 1 Please opinions, Ideas, fixes.....

Idea !! There is a seal immediately behind the clutch slave for the input shaft. If this has failed is the clutch fluid being pushed into the gearbox?? Level check perhaps.

Freelander 1 Please opinions, Ideas, fixes.....

It doesn't drip out of the gearbox from what I have seen. Just a big black clutch dust sticky mess when you take the box out. The clutch dust tends to soak it up.

Freelander 1 Please opinions, Ideas, fixes.....

The TD4 clutch is a strange beast. If there is a dead spot then we'll worth bleeding. There is a bleed nipple on a short pipe near where the clutch fluid pipe enters the gearbox. Bugger to get at. Try that. If you are loosing fluid and not evident then it is collecting in the bellhousing and is...

Funny you should ask this question as a while back I was thinking, get a scrap BMW, swap it all with loom and ECUs and mechanical bits off Freelander and see what happens. Having just got a low mileage TD4 Sport, all my others have been to the moon and back mileage wise!! It is a fab drive...

FACELIFT Freelander 2005 outer front CV joint - specialized ?

You need the correct length for the application..so LH and RH and different gearbox etc. Measure old one. The ABS ring must be taken off. The bit that fits in the hub is the same on all the lengths. With the ring removed your sensor should.not touch the shaft at all.
