Fitted new TDCI/ PUMA Defender front seats with heater elements, XS black rack 1/2 leather trim and Exmoor Trim carpet set to the front.
Just have to wire in the heated bits now and fit switches and relays somewhere.
Got the new radiator and intercooler fitted and found one of the rad hoses i had ordered was the wrong one:( Then snapped the horrible captive bolt which holds the front panel on so lots of hassle trying to get a big washer and nut into place behind the inner wing and headlight.
I currently have a pair of Cobra Daytona reclining seats in the Defender but I find the front of the seats is very high compared to the original seats. I have been looking at replacing them with a set of Exmoor Trim Elite Seats but I havent been able to find how high the front of the Exmoor...
finally got the clutch system to bleed and now have a working clutch again with redbooster kit installed. Hopefully it will help with the knackered knee otherwise its time to sell up and buy something else :(
Took the carpets and soundproofing out to try to track down where the water is coming into the footwells, found a couple of pre drilled holes above the accelerator pedal which were letting the water in! Just need to let it dry out now and seal them up.
I had to disconnect the illuminitation wires on my carling switch to get the lights working again, seems it was back feeding somehow and all the indicators glowed when the lights went on! Could try removing these and seeing if it helps.
Changed the engine oil, transfer box oil, topped up the diffs, greased the props and UJ's and fuel and air filter. Then washed it to wash away the spilt oil on the road!
