:( our 98 1.8 is recently a poor starter its had a new starter but that didnt cure it ,someone suggested starter relay as sometimes its fine and others you have to keep wiggling the key then hey it goes .where is the relay and are they expensive?? thanks in advance guys

her freelander keeps playing up when asked to start(1.8-98model) sounds like the relay i stripped and cleaned the starter and solenoid no difference but wigggled the relay and hey presto but it still does it from time to time ,should i just replace or is there a fix. cheers

anypeeps know what the cooling mods are for the 1.8 ,like hose and stat changes ive heard about blanking plates etc .apparently save a lot of hgf.ive got a 98 1.8 k and want to try mods.cheers guys
