my 300 disco seems to have lost all power to the rear doors. No central locking or electric windows. Ive checked the solder on the control unit for the windows and thats allready been done. Does any one have any ideas what to try?

I did mine yesterday, mainly because the swivel bearings had gone. cheap to do, but lots of cursing at stuck bolts. the biggest tip I could give is have a blow lamp handy and heat anything that's even slightly stubborn

forgot to mention after say a minute of idling it starts to go intermittent and after another min of so it stops completely. will try and record it later.

been underneath and the noise is is around the box area. would low oil cause a noise or would that only be when driven. Is there anything I can check with out taking the box out.

my disco has a very loud rattle when first started, but goes away after a few min. it does it in drive, neutral or revers ect ect. oil level seem ok. Does any one have any pointers, ive never really looked into anything auto box wise and don't know were to start.
