Hi. I have a Disco 2 and the handbrake is coming up high and im sure the adjuster has come loose and is rattling at 2600 rpm, any tips on how to fix the rattle would gratefully received thank you :)

Fixed it thank you. It was the unit that goes on the end of the inlet manifold, it was simply loose, I had taken it off and cleaned it and not tightened it up, the noise was turbo boost reeding past the metal gasket, funny noise. Its running great now :) Thank you for your interest, my only...

Yes its a whistle and a buzzing noise and its quite loud, abit like an high pitch electric pump... can you run the engine without the intercooler, I would like to isolate the noise, but I dont want to wreck anything els!!! oh its a 2000 TD5 Disco..
