I ended up grinding two flat edges and attacking it with big pliers. The wee nut was rusted in tight as you like. Now to get on with the door lock springs. Thanks guys, John

Sorry for the delay in updating, the springs took a while to arrive as the company I bought them off on ebay went on holiday for a week. Also had some trouble removing the bolt that holds the window frame. Got that sorted now and the springs came so will have a bash this weekend. Cheers, John

Hi, I was trying to remove the top half of my window on my 300 tdi to get at the lock mechanism. Long story short, I stripped the T30 torx bolt at the top of the door panel. Any ideas or tips on how to remove and what to replace it with? Thanks in advance guys, John
