I'm in email contact with MaxxRaxx now. I have the LR sliding plate multi height tow-bar. They say that the movement (looseness) of the sliding plate can cause extra stress to the rack so they offer a grub-screw kit to stop this movement. Does anyone have the same tow-bar and do they get those...

Thanks for that. It's an attractive method cos it allows access to the rear but I have heard some say they are worried about the extra weight on the door causing damage. Did you have any problems?

Just got back from a run to pick up the OH. I have the seat set level at the higher position, the front fixing bolts in the middle holes. A huge difference to the driving position for me. Legs are more comfortable with more stretch. Glad I got them. Hope the OH can reach the pedals now :eek:

Took about an hour (mechanically challenged me!). I found bolting the seat rails to the rear of the top (slotted) riser very fiddly for my arthritic hands. If anyone is thinking of fitting a set to a 110 check that both risers will move to all positions before refitting the seat. I found that...

Ian, no, I was referring to attaching the seat rail/runners to the rear of the riser top section (into the slot at the rear of top part of the riser).

Ian, I have just got a set of these risers in front of me. Before installing I have put one side together on the bench and tightened those locks and, yes, they do need tightening hard up don't they! Before I begin fitting them to the car I'm wondering how the rear of the seat runner is...
