Hi guys, Just got a '99 freelander 1.8 petrol with the creaking at d.s.rear subframe...I've read the brilliant posts and as suggested got underneath and prised a bar between the rear subframe and chassis where it bolts on...Sure enough the creak is there...so what I am asking is if there is...

Glad I read this post as mine is wet through too. Only had it a week and couldn't find out where the leak was from...trouble is the 6 disc changer was in there and is totally useless now...great forum gents thank you
