Hi just bought a V8i with the same problem (using petrol when on LPG) turned out to be an electrical fault, bad neg/chassis conection on some lpg control boxes, fixed now, runs like a dream on lpg and petrol, cost a bit to find the problem, but worth it. Love it !! Mick
