Found the problem and it was a stupid one. the heater pipes to the vapourizer had been routed over the engine above the filler cap and the water was low so the vapourizer wasnt heating up enough so when it switched over to gas it froze the engine with cold gas hence the stalling and why it was...

I'm loving it, stripped out the locks (even took out the windows etc) could find the problem got really annoyed put it all back together and hey it worked all doors locking properly again no more worring about some little **** opening the door in the car park
