i was in the same situation untill a freind told me to try aviva van insurance you'll get a series 3 for £1200 a 2.5na 90 for £900 and a 200tdi 90 for £1200. well thats what i got as a 17 year old with 12000 miles for a year. give them a go online

Another possibility is that youve got an imperial gearbox bellhousing and the 2.5 N/A will be metric which the treads are a tiny bit too big my bellhousing had to be drilled for a 110 2.25 petrol, let us know how you get on

hi all, i have the chance of a defender 200TDI engine with a failed turbo. i have a 19J turbo will i be able to fit that turbo to the 200TDI manifolds? if so what charactaristics am i looking at i.e. more less turbo lag, airflow and pressure? thanks any help gratefull Ed
