I have a 1990 Range Rover 4 litre. The tail gate stoped working yesturday I managed to remove panels and open the thing manually. The solenoid is ok. The button when pressed is supplying 12V but the voltage is being quenched by the load of the solenoid. I have no service manual on the car...
