help unable to locate brake switch on pedal any help greatly appreciated

unable to locate the brake switch on the brkae pedal pulled half the dash out still cant find it still awaiting delivery of a manual

Just bought a 1984 defender.Really looking forward to restoring it. Brake lights u/s unable to locate the brake pedal switch pulled half the dash out still no luck would be very grateful for any help re this also hello to all
