Just had the car connected to Landrover testbook and no faults found . I have noticed that when the problem occurs if you very quickly flick the ignition switch on and off with the engine idling and smoking it cures the fault . PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP

I have checked the fuel pump timing and it,s spot on just ordered a set of injectors .

Thanks for that i have tried checking the pump timing but difficult to find the hole that locks the crankshaft(in flywheel) I Know it,s somewhere behind the gearbox but need to get the car up on some lifts to gain access i think. Do you happen to know if i would need to recode the fuel pump if...
