Hi..just an update for those interested .fitted crankcase breather filter and whalla no smoke full power and a freelander that does what it should....just got to fix the rear window problem now...ahh well stops me gettin bored....thanks for the info and help good to know most people on here are...

thanks..will get one monday mornin...i have driven it about 7-10 miles since service...will it have damaged the turbo..seems responsive enough...also will this cure the smoke problem.........

hi...got one of those money pits we know as freelanders..was sufferin with the 70mph 3000 rpm problem so changed fuel filter and had service and running better...BUT.. now blowing smoke quite bad and pushing oil through dip stick all over engine (TD4)...gone through lots of threads and sites and...
