Thanks Foss, and all of the others. IT WORKS!!!!! Thoroughly cleaned out the ECU casing and loom/end connectors and it fired up and runs fine. Appreciate your time to answer the thread.

OK guys, thanks for the advice. Checked the fuel pump and it runs (a whirring/buzzing noise for 10 seconds when first cranked). I also looked at the relays in the fusebox. I need to find out where the injector loom is to check that....any ideas? Still just cranks away, no firing.

Will do....sounds like everyone suspects electrical connections as a fault which is hopefully a cheap fix assuming I can find the fault. Appreciate the tips!

Thanks bb, I'll give that a go. Tried swapping fob batteries but no go. I'll wait for some light tomorrow and have a look under the bonnet.

Folks, My 'new' Disco (owned for 4 weeks, W Reg 2.5 Diesel) has suddenly decided not to start. Unlocks, turns over fine but simply doesn't fire. Checked fuel level, plenty of battery power.....what on earth could it be? Thanks, in advance :confused:
