European cover is good but it is well worth checking the small print !! In the worst case you may not come back with your car !! If it is going to cost more to repatriate the car than it is worth then you may find you will be forced into a garage for repairs where you are or you will get paid...

Once you have charged the battery and refitted it you may well have no problem . Had one a few weeks ago that was doing the exact same thing after a flat battery , I was about to give up so had nothing to lose so I just disconnected the battery for a minute or two and the remote locking started...

Sounds like the a/c drain . Does seem to happen more on humid days as there is more moisture in the air . Love getting called out to these jobs , the hardest bit is trying to convince the member that it is normal

Had one the other week .Tried everything then in desperation all I did was disconnect and reconnect the vehicle battery and it all started working as it should again . Worth a try .
