td4 2002 how the hl do take out the top 2 bolts holding the ird in,iam working with the car on axle stands , and any quick tips to get turbo out so p.....d off:mad:

can someone tell me,when replacing a td4 turbo you have to take out thefront subframe then the ird unit just to get to the turbo, and i remove the intercooler today and was what is the best way of flushing the oil out

do you think there is a good chance of conrod damage

after getting recovered with a turbo fault on thursday went out today and took off the oil filler cap to bypass the crankcase breather and tried to start my td4 and looks like the engine has hydrauliced .i think the turbo has pushed oil into a cylinder , any ideas

well, tried to start car and it sounds hydrauliced after the previous problems anybody want to buy it for spares or repair

when it was unloaded at home there was a dinner plate size patch of oil under the car

well, i was going to the airport today at 5am just got onto the m6 a my td4 started making a tinnie blade noise which i know as a turbo blade noise i pulled off the motorway and as i stopped in the sewrvices there was lot of smoke came out of the engine,, oil smell, with a misfire as if on 3...

anybody have any ideas, front sidelight comes on when i press the footbrake and on start up i have noticed the rear high level brake light comes on

having fitted a towing flasher unit on my freelander 2002 ,i have noticed it flashes once when not towing and when towing it does the same not continuious any suggestions:confused:

help..... i am fitting new cable kit to my n/s front window regulator on my 02 freelander. I got the kit from ebay ,and the cables are identical to the original ones. they were easy to fit but, i dont know how to tension up and wind on the motor pulley, can anyone help......:confused:
