    mystery mid rpm misfire

I had almost identical problems with the misfire and huge loss of power which was getting worse week by week. Took it in to a trusted mech who after checking all the usual problems noticed the air box was not fastening tight. Inside the filter was not fittting right and as such the insulation...

And after you have spent hours lovingly caressing her every inch she will repay you in kind for your care and attention. As for the mrs well like all of them not from this planet.

    mystery mid rpm misfire

I have exactly the same problem on a v8 lpg. Whenever under load starts to struggle and get the odd misfire. If towing mrs' horse trailer the whole thing goes into some sort of cardiac arrest following which hazards go on until I take key out. Changed everything leads plugs etc. I have noticed...

3.9 V8i low power and missing on different fuel

On a similar vein I had problems with loss of power on hills on both fuels. Worst on petrol. Everything changed plugs, leads etc and a mate now reckons one of the cylinders not firing which is cause of problem. Def a spark to it. Any quick checks recommended before it goes to garage for what I...

Next to nothing in lane three except me in my '98 V8 laughing all the way. It's the one day of the year they wish they had mine...

    lpg

Just done leads (8mm) running alot sweeter now. Seems to pull much better under a load. I noted when took dizzy cap off a very slight bit of wear on rotor arm, i am guessing its the norm. Will order new for peace of mind. I am hoping fuel econ rises now

    lpg

Geezer been running a v8 conversion for about 6 months now and yes when you do the maths works about same as diesel although the tank capacity on my torpedos is very limited, only manage about 45l in from empty which means regular stops to fuel up. I did speak to a bloke who gets 60l in his yet...

Had a read thru the forums and the plugs and leads are getting changed. Old plugs were standards and clearly from the posts should not be anywhere near lpg Just think my...
