Hi The failed to initialise message usually occurs before the software actually starts. Hence the need for the add on. Corroded OBD2 sockets, com settings etc will not prevent the program starting but a missing add on will.

Hi To solve the EAS software problem you'll need to install Microsoft net framework version 2.0 . It can be downloaded (for free) from the microsoft website. This seems to affect windows XP. Hope it helps Edward
