The car is a 1996, and the fault is not temprature dependant Doh!!!! HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM ????????

P38 Diesel wont rev past 3500 rpm??? I have had fault codes read, changed all pipes, checked intercooler, clean'd sensors, valves & turbo etc, NO change at all... CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP I AM RUNNING OUT OF OPTIONS !!! Anyone familiar with Bosch injection pump symptoms??? Thanks Jay

Dear all, I have had the fault codes read... nothin showing at all. Apparently the pump dwell is slightly out, this is controlled electronicaly. Has anyone had this problem before? Could it be the DCU in the bosch injector pump? At this point I am looking for someone who has come accross...

Thanks guys, sound thinking but!!! Fuel filter is new, 2000 mile ago... Intercooler was flushed when I fitted a new oil cooler 2000 mile ago, also turbo pipes are pressurising when the engine is reved???
