Hi Just arrived in Tiverton anf noticed a rattle so popped the bonnet and found my crank pulley bolt has ran off :( It's a 200tdi. . Has anyone local got one I can buy or borrow ? Or can someone point me to a local breakers? Pretty please and Thank you :)

I would have thought that a sticky solenoid would cause a start failure rather than a sudden stop?

Did that tonight, power to solenoid and an audible click so I guess it is ok.

Its a metal disc with 3 holes to lock the injector pump pulley when removing the pump. Has anyone got one? I would like to turn one up on the lathe but could do with a pic of the inside to see how it works :) cheers Al

cheers for that, we checked the solenoid for power but couldn't remove it to check full operation.

I think I have just broke the injector pump on my 200tdi :( I have pressurised fuel from the lift pump upto the injector pump but no fuel at the injectors? It had been running fine all day including towing a scrap car in. When I started it to go home it started with a quick rev up without my...

no drive in any position, no nasty noises either so not flanges :confused:

Gear lever does feel attached although gears are very easy to engage. I suspect no drive to box but there are no grinding noises or anything? I am still trying to link it to the previous problem of clutch apparently not releasing drive but it seems odd to go from one extreme to the other?

makes no difference if engine running or not :(
