its got a brand spanker rad ill check that valve in the A.M. if its as simple as that little thing ill curl up and die,its had me almost pulling my last few preious hairs out!!!

in november i had replaced the whole engine in my disco after chasing the over heating and water blasting back out the expansion tank problems that seem to plague 300s,i had done the head gasket,water pump,etc and it happened again miles from home,so i drove it from peterbourogh to telford and...

engine watchdog digital temp gauges are good easy to fit aswell i bought mine at peterbourogh last year,its an australian company i think but defo work well,try auto electic suppliers or "engine watchdog"on a web search

the xeng ones are good blue or red too,bout 7quid a pair,thir www gives a list of agents.

dont no ithis helps but i went through exact same thing even changad gasket water pmp thermostat ended up swapping engine ,i had changd the rad for a second hnd one(scrapyard)and still had the problem,i decided to start again and got a brand new rad and its run perfect ever since,i had flushed...

any dea of pricerange of bushes for castor correction also how about if i got adventurous and fitted the 2 inch kit and then added the plus 2 inch spacers and the castor bushes of course. would that be feasible?(and reliable).???

just started to sort out my disco,got split charger and spotties,c.b fitted,also swapped old 96 tdi for newer 98 tdi so got a starting point,next job 2 inch lift so any advice apreciated,am i right in thinking castor is ok to 2 inches ?:confused:

got shox and springs turrets and rings, and wanting to replace all related parts, ie spring seats and other bits and bobs,anybody give me a lttle list of extras ill ned to make job easier,its a 300tdi disco,1996,also been told dont need to correct casstor angle at that height? any assistance...
