Hi Billy-g, thanks for the info. I have a 06 TD4 freelander which i bought from new, it runs like a dream so don't know whether to purchase a synergy 2 or not. I tow a large caravan and notice on hills it could do with a bit of help, other than that it's perfect. Graham

I think the synergy 2 has a built-in maf sensor, the synergy 1 does not have this.
