i had all the problem desribed and i can tell you it is a cracked head. i lost no water but pressurised and over heated. replace or have your head done thats the onlyt way to sort it sorry,

all sorted. took it all apart again and replaced head gasket with a landrover geniune part.and been running fine for over a month. must have been a faulty gasket, thanks for all the responces i got. got there in the end.

can someone explain the best way of getting rid of airlock incase i am doing it wrong. thanks ian

they are secondhand airbags and it is missing from the replacment and damaged on the orginal.
