i assume the fuel filter is ok, have you tried the lift pump in the tank they are not very strong and can fail

replaced the air filter, oil filter, oil, sparkplugs, ign leads. apparently there is no fuel filter :eek: now the rangie is going much better now, feels like it should do. the main problem with it not running well was the ign leads the problem with the cruise not working was the leaking...

look back at my picture, the last 'blank' switch on the left has been modified and a tiny speaker fitted behind it and a bit of speaker cloth covering the hole. as this is not oem sat nav im assuming they had to fit a speaker somewhere

no mate the wee cloth bit above the clock is where the sat nav speaker is fitted.:)

i just bought the 3 filters today oil air and fuel, mine is a 2000 4.6, so im wasting my time looking for the fuel filter then:confused: p38spares.co.uk have a service kit including a fuel filter for my model:confused:

i tested my ignition leads my removing one by one while the engine is running, some were arcing out from a couple of inches away from the engine yet some i had to put the rubber sleeve right against the engine to arc out, does this sound as if some are giving me a stronger spark that others...

i have just been a run, my cruise is working just fine and the car is driving a lot better after cleaning up the plugs, i still feel it is down on power slightly you feel it more so at kickdown, ill give it a service and see how it feels after all that has been done. :)
