clean the old pads up, and reface them using emery cloth on a good flat surface, as has been said before. Anything over 50% worn we would replace otherwise reuse as long as they are fine and have not overheated or cracked at all.

my honda hrv has a similar set up and it works fine, pump in the diff when wheels spin up the pressure increases drive the rear... also worth looking at are the electronic clutch assy on the rear diffs of most modern suv type things, jeep patriot, rav4 etc..but then again may as well buy a newer...

i have a dewalt 3/8 gun thats better than the snap on gun. 1/2 inch is a facom pretty good but had issues with batteries. the new snap on gun is good but stupid money. had a sealey and a mac tool both ok no issues till they were destroyed..

MOT test is not there to check if the vehicle, whatever it may be, is maintained properly. How would a visual inspection along with a decelerometer test show if one of the rear brakes is not as efficient as the other side? It wont, so the brake rollers DESIGNED for 4x4 are far more effiecient...

The boston brake tester we use at work has a function specifically for 4x4 never had any problems in 4 years of using it. done just about every brand of 4x4 on it too, even the soft roaders.

1 pass with advisory,other one fail but i would be looking to why the wing is coming away, the sealer is split mate on one side. unless its battle damage lol
